Hi. If my videos are H.264 encoded but not in the .mov container, will I run into troubles?

I've gotten "Draft for web" exports to behave fine when the movies are H.264 encoded as .mp4 files and as .flv files. Will these containers give me trouble when I do the final export and post my project to the web?

If so, and if I don't have access to Compressor, it seems like I can convert to .mov files using iMovie or Quicktime. If I'm wrong here, let me know.

Thanks!

(p.s. apologies for the typo in my post title — can't figure out how to go back and change that)

Hi JP,

Movies in MOV MP4 or FLV should all be fine, particularly if they are in H.264. I have also had success using Quicktime to convert to MOV but I can't vouch for iMovie.

Hope this helps.
