I have looked at one production called traffic light where they do not use a main window at all, only navigate between the previews. How do one make such an setup?

Hi Michael,
That's intriguing! My first thought was that the Main Window had been set to be the same size as the two Preview windows. Clearly, however, those are three previews, since they only activate on rollover. I also took a look through the makers' blogs without success. This was a class assignment for some of Adrian Miles' (RMIT) students, so perhaps he can help solve this little mystery. His contact info is here.

Hi again Michael,
I spoke with Florian and he said he's seen this kind of approach before (and indeed used it himself in museum installations). The trick is to make the SNU widget very small, so the viewer only sees the Previews. I also imagine you'd need to have one SNU in the project, which could be a (black) still image, a few pixels square.
Best,
Matt
