Hi,
I'm working on transferring an older version of a korsakow project into the new version. Everything is working reasonably fine, and the new version looks great! But i have some trouble with the previews. The preview options used to be 3 images of equal size (3:4), fitting exactly next to eachother so together they look like one wide image. In the new version of Korsakow there appears a black space in between the images, and i can't find where to change this. In the interface editor i've set the preview area's to the exact same size as the original preview file, and put them together pretty much like the standard interface, but no succes. Opening the movie in the SNU editor and choosing the preview image, it shows the 4:3 image within a kind of 16:9 black field. I can't customize.
I'm not an expert, but I hopefully be able to resolve this with help from anyone on this forum. Thanks, Mano

Hi mano,
It sounds like what you've done should have worked. One possibility I can think of is a known issue: some video files have metadata which incorrectly specifies the dimensions of the video.
There are few things we can do here to figure out what's going on:
- you could send me a sample video file I can check
- you could inspect the exported FLV file and verify whether it has the same aspect ratio as the original.
You could also send me your KRW file, though I suspect the video is more relevant. If you wish you can also publish your exported project online so I can look at it.
Regards

Hi Dreisch,
thank you for the quick reply.
Dimensions of original videofile and the exported flv are identical. Where could i send you the krw file?
Regards,
Mano

Hi,
I noticed you are using the Preview (Multi) widget, which is different from the Preview widget. The two work quite differently and usually you only want one Preview (Multi) in any given interface.
Can you try replacing them with regular Preview widgets and see if that helps?
