I recently received help on a subtitle topic: I was getting strange characters in portugese subtitles, but this was excelently resolved by saving the subtitles in UTF-8 format.

Now there's another issue after having transferred a version 3 project to version 5. It seems it doesn't take the subtitles along in this transfer.

Now when I select a SNU and check 'get info' I see at 'subtitles' instead of a .txt file the same .mov file as under 'filname. I then select the correct subtitle file, close the 'get info' window. Then reopen the 'get info' window, and all is still ok. Then I save the project, and re check 'get info' and at this point the selected subtitle file has changed back to the .mov file.

In the old version the subtitle files were the same name as the movie file, but ending with _s.txt. Apparently it doesn't make a difference, as i've changed it to the same name as movie, but the same happens.

Any ideas on this?
