Hey Guys,

I started  last week a korsakow workshop and non-linear narratives at the school where I teach, in Portugal.

Mostly the computer in the room at Mac but Somme students use their own laptop PC´s. We started to instal Korsakow (5.03) on Vista and XP and every thing was OK. Unfortunately, on Windows 7 system 7 Korsakow couldn´t run due a problem related to "load Quicktime extensions" (I cannot reproduce the exact "alarm window" by this time). Anyway, I think that correct Java + Quicktime + Flash Player were installed. So my question is, Is there some issue about Windows 7 and Korsakow?

Tank´s in advance

best regards

Antonio

Hi,

We actually don't currently have much information regading running Korsakow on Vista or Win7. In fact we should probably give it a thorough going-over, in fact I'm going to bring this up for discussion at our next development meeting, but it will most likely be a few weeks before it gets looked into.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention however… if anyone reading this has a success or failure story on Vista/Win7 we'd greatly appreciate your posting here to let us know.

Hi Dreisch,

1- Tank ´s for your feedback. We were in fact unable to run Korsakow on Win7, but we got success on XP. I didn´t confirm the installation on Vista, sorry, I will confirm on Friday.

2- Besides that, We found some little problems:

A-  when giving a end-film and the "play again" button; after that no others "preview" buttons will work

B- Tried the subtitle functions described on Quick Start page, but success too

c- A little silly question: is it possible, in some way,  to play 2 different films on 2 "different MainMedia´s"?

Best regards

Antonio
