1. Being able to add/upload, tagged video, photographic and audio clips to a K-Film already online.

2. An Korsakow style aggregator pulling a chosen range of meta tagged, video, photographic and audio clips from, youtube, vimeo, blip.tv, flickr, AudioBoo, Vidler, Bambuser etc and presenting them in a Korsakow interface.

3. A mixture of the above, placed and aggregated media presented and played in a korsakow style interface.

Hi, not sure exactly what you meant, but I'll try to answer as best I can.

1.

If you are asking about the possibilities of adding SNU's to a film that's already been published without having to re-upload the entire thing, the short answer is that in general its complicated as changes in one place can affect others due to the linked nature of a k-film.

However if all you have done is added some media, created SNU's, and perhaps changed(add/remove) some keywords, you can try the following:

  • Re export the film locally. This is why it is usually a good idea to keep the most recent export on your harddrive somewhere since you can just skip all the previously exported media.
  • upload and replace the file data/project.xm
  • upload and replace the new media files, located in data/video, data/sound, data/images, data/thumbnails. They should still have their original filenames, perhaps with a different extension.

Note that creating, deleting and modifying interfaces potentially affects all exported media.

2.

This is a pretty interesting idea, and something I have given some though to in the past. It is especially interesting since these services already allow the tagging/keywording of media.

These are certainly interesting indeas. Thank you for your feedback, we'll definitely add these to the list of considerations at our next review.

Cheers,

Dave
